Doyle, Steven T. (Born September 11, 1960) A Sherlockian since the age of fourteen. Founded in 1986 The Sherlock Holmes Review, the critically acclaimed Sherlockian periodical, which ran for 10 years, and which sponsored five symposia over that time. In 1994 co-founded Wessex Press, a Sherlockian and Doylean press, which acquired Gasogene Press in 1996, (now Gasogene Books, and imprint of Wessex Press. Address for Wesses Press: P.O. Is since 1987 a member of The Illustrious Clients of Indianapolis, for which Doyle co-edited The Illustrious Clients Fourth Casebook and The Illustrious Clients Second Case-Notes, as well as numerous smaller Illustrious Clients publications. Since 1999 he has edited and published the society’s newsletter, The Illustrious Clients News. Doyle was invested in the BSI (“The Western Morning News”) in 1996. He is also a member of several other Sherlockian societies, including: The 140 Varieties of Tobacco Ash, The STUD Sherlockian Society, The Maiwand Jezails, and The Retired Colourmen. He is a full-time video producer for Purdue University, and lives in Zionsville, Indiana.
