ASH: The Fascinating Daughter of a California Millionaire. I used to be a professional musical theatre actress (I still have my Equity card). One of my most entertaining roles was playing the wicked sausage-curled Lavinia in Andrew Lippa’s world premiere production of A Little Princess. I was also a waitress for ten years, whence I developed my love of gourmet international cuisine. More recently, I wrote a Sherlock Holmes pastiche called Dust and Shadow: an Account of the Riper Killings by Dr. John H. Watson, which was published by Simon & Schuster in April 2009. I am married to Gabriel Lehner, an artist and mixologist and owner of a fine Watsonian moustache, and we live in Manhattan with Grendel the KittyMonster. Apart from the Adventuresses of Sherlock Holmes, I am a proud member of the O’Lunneytics, whose arcane Sherlockian rituals best remain in the shadows of Midtown Manhattan’s pubs.
