I have completed studies Napa Valley College (NVC) resulting in my graduation with honors in six undergraduate degrees: AS Administration of Justice, AS Wildlife Law Enforcement, AA Social & Behavioral Sciences, AA Humanities & Fine Arts, AA General Education-UC Transfer Curriculum, AA Natural Sciences & Mathematics. In 2004, I was ranked one of the top 2 students at NVC, one of the top 20 community college students in California, and one of the top 60 community college students in the USA. This fall, I am transferring to Texas A&M University-Commerce to complete my degrees in English and Wildlife & Conservation Science with the ultimate goal of teaching college-level English and working summers as a state/national park ranger. I am an Executive Alumni Ambassador for the NV/CA Regional Alumni Association of Phi Theta Kappa (the international honor society for two-year colleges). In the past, I have researched backgrounds for a Pinkerton agent, manufactured pharmaceuticals and performed environmental surface and air monitoring, and am just ending my job as Instructional Assistant for Chemistry/Physical Sciences at NVC (due to my transferring).
