One of the Sherlockian world's most venerable and respected societies, The Illustrious Clients was established in 1946 by then-14 yr old Jerry Williamson and H. B. Pete Williams. The Illustrious Clients rank as one of the Sherlockian/Holmesian world's most active societies. We conduct nine meetings per year. About half are dinner meetings with a story discussion and other activities. We enjoy an annual summer road trip for our members, an afternoon of Sherlockian films, a Victorian Dinner complete with period costumes and numerous other social gatherings. During its long history, the Clients has enjoyed the leadership of many outstanding Sherlockians including Ted Schulz and Mike Whelan. The Illustrious Clients are well-known for their enviable record of publishing. Over the years, we have published many anthologies of Sherlockian essays by club members and respected Sherlockians around the world.
